Case 81: The Power of Gantry Angulation

This 60-years old had multiple lung nodules. The best nodule to biopsy was in the left apex. In the prone position, the vertebral transverse process was in the way. A simple caudiocranial gantry tilt of 5° cleared the transverse process and the needle could be placed easily into the nodule.

The video explains the process and a bit about the history of gantry angulation for CT guided biopsies.
