Case 106: Pleural Thickening Biopsy

This 71-years old man had a non-resolving pleural effusion with no diagnosis on pleural aspiration.

The PET/CT showed multiple focal areas of pleural thickening and a possible nodule in the lingula.

The patient was referred for a biopsy. The initial plan was to target the lingular lesion, but I found a pleural lesion with a thickness of 4.9 mm to biopsy.

The video explains how I approached the case and did the biopsy.
